  • No, it shouldn’t hurt.

You will be numb, but if you do feel anything, use your left hand to let us know, and he will stop and numb you more.

  • It depends on what you’re getting done during your appointment.

Generally, it can take anywhere from an hour to 2+ hours, because we do same-day crowns, and it takes a while for the mill to create your new prosthetic.

    Some examples are:

    Filling: An hour or less

Root Canal: An hour to an hour and a half, but if we’re doing the crown start to finish, that takes about 3 hours, depending on how many crowns are being done.

If you need to know how long specifically, call us to have us estimate your appointment time.

  • If you have insurance, it’s generally 30% your part, 70% insurance, but it depends on your insurance.

If it’s major, then your insurance will usually cover 50% of what’s reasonable and customary.

Medicaid covers you until you max out.

It is different for everybody; look to your insurance to see how much it will cost you.

We highly recommend getting pre-authorizations from your insurance company to know exactly what you’ll have to pay for your specific procedure.

  • A root canal saves a severely infected or decayed tooth from extraction by removing the damaged inner pulp (nerves and blood vessels), cleaning out the tooth, and sealing it with a protective material.

    • Why It's Done: To relieve infection-related pain and stop it from spreading to surrounding bone and tissue.

    • The Procedure: The area is numbed, a small hole is drilled, the infected pulp is removed, the canal is cleaned, and it's sealed with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha.

    • Aftercare: A temporary filling is placed right away, then replaced with a permanent filling or crown to restore the tooth's strength.

    • Recovery: Most patients say it feels similar to getting a regular filling. Discomfort usually clears up within a week.

    • Signs You May Need One: Severe tooth pain, lingering sensitivity to hot or cold, swelling, or a bump on the gums.

With good care, a root canal-treated tooth can last a lifetime.

  • If there’s no infection present, you don’t have medical conditions that require pre-medication, and if we have time in our schedule that day, we can.

  • With all dental work, you can eat as soon as you leave the office, except for when fluoride has been applied, and in that case, you should wait 30 minutes.

If we have personally instructed you to not eat for a certain amount of time, that overrides this answer.

  • It’s highly recommended not to smoke for at least 4 days. That being said, if you must, you can smoke except for dental extractions or implant placement.

    Dental extractions: 4+ days

    Implant: Recommended to quit

  • Due to personal medical issues from last year and reopening this year, we are currently not taking new patients.

This will change as the doctor’s health improves.

  • Last year (2025), Dr. Eves was diagnosed with leukemia and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and underwent a bone marrow transplant.

The bone marrow transplant was a success, and he is recovering day by day.

Currently, we are only open 3 days a week and servicing existing patients. As his energy returns, we will start taking new patients.
